Sourav Ganguly recently revealed that all-rounder Pandya is still undergoing a treatment at the National Cricket Academy and it is equally unlikely that he will be able to play Ranji Trophy. A five-match T20 series is currently going on between India and New Zealand, in which the Indian team is ahead 2–0. After this, India has to play a series of three ODIs. Then in the two-Test matches series, he has to get on the field to challenge the host.

Before the Test series between India and New Zealand, Ganguly revealed the seriousness of Pandya’s injury and said that he is not fully fit yet. He is undergoing treatment at NCA. It will take them a little more time to get fit. Pandya played the last limited over match for India against South Africa. The 26-year-old Pandya was also excluded from the team in the T20 series against the Kiwi team.

Hardik Pandya was also included in the India A team, which has gone on to tour New Zealand, but at that time he was not fully ready to play the match, Due to which he withdrew his name.
